I recently spoke with Helen Spiller and she had nothing but praise for the professionalism and compassion shown to her and her family during Mott's burial. She spoke very highly of Cliff and his handling of the entire service.
As you know, Mott was a member of our Marine Corps League. I would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks to you and your staff for the manner in which you have served several of our Marine families over the years.
Yours very truly;
Phil Lucas, Adjutant
Thank you so much for all you did for our family during our recent loss. I especially want to thank you for the care and support we received; you were a true blessing! The one moment that really stands out for me is when you came out to the house to pick up mother after she passed – as you and your co-worker were putting mother in the hearse – you turned to Ray and said – “We will take very good care of her”. Thank you so much for those few words that meant so much!!
God bless you and please express our thanks and gratitude to everyone at Blyth’s.

Dear Hannah, Wayne, Clif, Steve, Bryan and everyone at Blyth Funeral Home,
Thank you all for your kindness and absolute professional service in taking care of our family during my sister, Kristin Maxstadt’s, passing away. You are so faithful and generous to give your time to help us in decision making while grieving. We truly appreciate you all!
May God bless you,
Ernest and Kathryn McCallum John and Janice Maxstadt
Thank you so very much for the belt and buckle you provided for Earl “Cowboy”. Your kindness will always be remembered!
Thank you so much for everything you have done for our family during this difficult time.
Your kindness and caring for my father, Stephen R. Wiegand, were comforting to all of us.
Thank you, also, for you comforting words and assistance throughout this time on behalf of Gena, his widow. You allowed to grieve while handling the details.
You went above and beyond our expectations. Even so far as to make phone calls and pick up and deliver special music for the DVD. (His fathers guitar playing for the background music)
My father’s last wishes were graciously and professionally adhered to and we are so grateful.

Dear Wayne and Staff,
Our mother’s funeral service was exceptionally beautiful, dignified and meaningful. This was due to your expertise.
You and your entire staff did an outstanding job in executing his/her job. Our special thanks to Hannah, your beautiful, efficient and sweet daughter-in-law and your son, Steve. Both of whom were especially patient in answering all my questions and assisting me with many details.
The evening of visitation and the funeral were both planned and conducted efficiently. Because of this, we enjoyed treasured memories of our mother and grandmother’s last rituals with us on earth.
Thank you for your outstanding help and support. Each of us wish you continuing success.
May God bless you, your staff and your beautiful family…especially sweet Judy.

Words cannot express how thankful we are to you and Blyth Funeral Home for all your kindness in our time of need. We have all been blessed with your guidance.

Thanks to you and all your fine staff for the service for Marty. You don’t know how much you are appreciated.
As you know, Susie Barker came to my home recently to discuss funeral planning and to answer questions for several of us ladies. Some of us were already planning to use Blyth and after the meeting with Susie, I believe some of the others may come there also.
Susie is a true professional. She walked in the door with confidence, made the ladies feel completely at ease, answered our questions, and did it all with dignity and grace. Susie represents Blyth Funeral Home with a sensitive and compassionate approach. It is obvious that she loves what she does!
Thank you for allowing her to come and share with us.

Clif Thomas was an angel in disguise! I could have not made it without him... But the whole staff at Blyth was wonderful and very caring in my time of need!
Thank you so much for all your care and planning of mom’s funeral. We were so pleased to be dealing with hometown folk who had known our family and provided services for dad’s funeral. The day was a beautiful celebration of mom’s life, start to finish and you made it so. We will always appreciate your kindness.

On behalf of the entire Ray family, thank you for the personal and considerate service we received from you and your team at the time of dad’s death. Your willingness to “stray from the norm” and let us take dad downtown one more time will never be forgotten. Dad received such a fond farwell.
With a grateful heart,
Dear Steve Gantt & Blyth “Family,”
I want to express my sincere appreciation for the beautiful job you did for my daddy, Steve Justice. I feel you went above and beyond to make this very difficult time as easy and comfortable as possible for me and my family. Y’all simply think of everything and that lifts such a burden from us. Daddy always said Blyth was the best. I experienced first hand that exactly. Thank you so very much!
I am writing to again express my deepest gratitude for all your support and hard work with the arrangements for my grandfather Cecil Browning. Your patience with our family was beyond the “call of duty” and truly meant more to us, his grandchildren, than you will ever know! He was such a dear, loving and influential part of our life. I am most grateful that you made such an extraordinary effort to see that all the details were looked after with such care. I just wanted you to know how much that meant to me and my family.
I wanted to say thank you for the beautiful job you did for mother’s service. It was flawless and we’ve had so many wonderful comments. You and the staff know how to make the family feel at ease and special during a very difficult time. We really appreciate all you did. Thanks again for a perfect celebration of Miss Emmie.
There are so many things to thank you for. First let me say how happy mother would be about the memorial in her name. The church was her life as was her family. She would be amazed at the generosity of my friends and hers. I feel so inadequate using words to thank you for getting me through those hard days and still being there to help whenever I call. My family were Harley people, but I felt it was right to put myself in your care. That was the best decision I made. Wayne Gantt got a jewel in you. Every step went as planned, every decision made easier by you, and I honestly was able to focus on my friends and family during the funeral. Your aftercare has made many details easier for me also. You are so good at what you do. I believe the Lord put me in your capable hands. Thank you from my heart!
I just wanted to thank you for all your help during the time of my mother’s death. I can’t thank you enough for just being there and answering all of our questions. These have been some long weeks and days but I’m just going day by day. My mother would have been very proud of the service as it was. Just wanted you to know how much your kindness was appreciated.
Many thanks to you and the staff for the superb service you gave our family after mother’s death. From the prompt and dignified removal of her body to caring for us at the funeral. We are very grateful! Time spent with us during the planning hours was above and beyond the normal time allotted. I was very impressed at your competence in editing our paperwork. The suggestion of “A Mighty Fortress” was brilliant! How could we possibly cry and hang our heads when walking out to that hymn?! The visitation and funeral were truly a celebration of the life of Margaret Holbrooks! You were wonderful!

Thank you for helping us through a difficult situation. It seems like a dream; everything is a blur. We really appreciate your guiding us through everything. We couldn’t have made it through without you.
Laura Lee and Harold Hodges
I wanted to send a special thanks to you for all your help during the loss of my husband. Your gentleness and warmth were so appreciated. Thanks also for the write-up of Charles’ service. I use it as a bookmark for my Bible. Life without Charles has been very difficult. I miss him so very much but God is getting me through. You certainly bless those you meet in times of need.
We wanted to thank you once again for your many kindnesses to our family. You have the patience of Job, the wisdom of Solomen and the compassion of a saint! You obviously care about the people you work with – both dead and living. You made planning and carrying out the funeral of our dad as uncomplicated and stress free as possible. You and the staff at Blyth were consistantly attentive, “gentle”, and courteous with us. Our dad looked so dignified and peaceful and “natural”. We have good memories of our last viewing of him. We appreciate so much all you did to help us through this very tough time. You were a tremendous blessing to our family!
Howard and Suzanne Thomas
I want to thank you for doing such a great job directing and carrying out all the details for John’s funeral. Everthing worked out perfectly and I was pleased with your great services. I was glad to see your parents there. You were most gracious in taking care of everything.
