Obituary for Charles Neil Chuck Davenport, Sr.

Charles Neil “Chuck” Davenport, Sr., 62, resident of 401 Lorenzo Road, husband of Pamela Williamson Davenport, passed away Saturday, February 3rd, 2018, at his home.

Born November 14, 1955, in Greenwood, he was the oldest son of Emma Mae Hughes Davenport and the late Johnnie Davenport. He was employed with Gary Russ Chevrolet as a sales associate and was formerly employed with Grimes Aerospace.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 40 years and his mother of Greenwood are a daughter, Christina Elaine (Matea) Davenport of Williston, VT; a son, Charles Neil (Suzanne) Davenport, Jr. of Columbia; a brother, Barry Davenport of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Cora Davenport, Kennedy Davenport and Kate Davenport.

He was predeceased by a brother, Johnnie Ray “Rusty” Davenport.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Clyde Davenport officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home.
