Obituary for Grace Yarbrough Boland

Grace Boland

Grace Yarbrough Boland 84, resident of 103 Divot Trail, wife of Frank Boland, died Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Ashley Place.

Born in Greenwood County, June 29, 1933, she was a daughter of the late John and Ruth Worthington Yarbrough. Mrs. Boland was a graduate of Greenwood High School and retired as manager of the Greenbax Redemption Center in Greenwood. She was an avid collector of dolls and was certainly a movie buff. Some of the fondest family memories are the beach and shopping trips that she enjoyed so much.

She was a member of Rice Memorial Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Elizabeth “Libby” (Glenn) Bladon of Abbeville and Angela “Angie” (Walt) Carr of Simpsonville; a son, Kirk Franklin (Laura) Boland of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Brooks and Blake Boland, Dylan and Justin Bladon, Erin Thomas and Will Carr.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday in Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Alvin Hodges officiating.

Pallbearers will be Brooks Boland, Blake Boland, Glenn Bladon, Dylan Bladon, Justin Bladon and Walt Carr.

The family is at 224 Autumn Trace and will receive friends following the graveside service.
