Obituary for Heather Rose Brooks Camilletti

Heather Rose Brooks Camilletti, 39, resident of Branyon Circle in Due West, wife of Paul Tim Camilletti, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Hospital in Anderson.

Born in Greenwood, November 3, 1978, she was a daughter of Joseph Wayne Brooks and Shirley Trail Brooks. Heather was a graduate of Greenwood High School, attended Piedmont Technical College and was formerly employed as a CNA at National Health Care and Self Regional Medical Center. She last worked with her family at their small business, Brooks Truck & Equipment Repair, INC.

Heather was a member of South Side Baptist Church in Abbeville where she, along with her husband, taught the Bible Builders Sunday School Class. She enjoyed life to the fullest and was always planning her next trip to the mountains and the beach.

Surviving in addition to her husband and parents of Hodges is her grandmother, Guynelle Brooks of Abbeville; her brother, Joseph Wayne “Joey” Brooks, Jr., with whom she and Tim made their home; her mother-in-law, Colleen (Mike) Youmans of Kansas City, MO; father -in-law, Paul (Tammi) Camillettti of Monks Corner; grandmother-in-law, Rosemary Garretson of Kansas City, MO; brother-in-law, Robbie, Michael and Duane (Jessica) Camilletti and Chuckie and Ryan (Jasmine) Smith, along with a large extended family of aunts, uncles whom each held a special place in her heart and those “Fur Babies”.
Every Christmas, Heather organized a get together for all her cousins that she dearly loved.

She was predeceased by grandparents, Lee Brooks, Sr. and Ladson and Cornelia Trail and maternal great-grandmother, Lou Ella Wiley.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Friday at South Side Baptist Church in Abbeville with Rev. Zack Little officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Wayne Brooks, Jr., Robbie and Michael Camilletti, Scott Wheatley and Gregg and Craig Brooks.

The family is at the home of her parents on Ross Road in Hodges and will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 Friday afternoon at the church.
