Obituary for Jean Fallaw Lagrone

Jean Ridlehuber Fallaw Lagrone, 74, resident of Twin Ponds Court, widow of Hoyt W. Lagrone, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood on January 22, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Montre Rich and William Clarence Ridlehuber, Jr. and was twice married, first to the late Harold Dean Fallaw.

Jean was a graduate of Greenwood High School and Piedmont Technical College. Upon earning her degree, she was employed and later retired from Self Regional as the coordinator in Infection Control. .

Jean was a member of Abney Memorial Baptist Church and was also active in both the Self Regional Health Care Book Club and the Pepper Hill Princess Group.

Survivors include her two sons, Christopher Dean Fallaw of Greenwood and Harold “Kip” (Heather) Fallaw of Honea Path; a daughter, Jennifer Fallaw Bolding of Greenwood, four Grandchildren, Kipper Fallaw, Keller Bolding, Keelee Fallaw and Jensen Bolding. She was also survived by her brother, William “Billy” (Carolyn) Ridlehuber III, of Laurens, and her previous brothers and sisters in laws, Carolyn Fallaw, Archie (Jonell) Fallaw, Susan Jones, Jeff (Donna) Fallaw, Roger (Judy) Fallaw, Michael “Mickey” (Janice) Fallaw, and was predeceased by a brother in law, Benny Fallaw.

Funeral services will conducted at 3pm on Saturday from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bret Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Mark Ridlehuber, Steve Armstrong, Kevin Fallaw, Kenneth Fallaw, Ernie Willis, Tim Fallaw, Tony Fallaw and Tommy Fallaw.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 2 to 3 on Saturday at the funeral home.
