Obituary for Lucille Baay Fleming

LUCILLE FLEMING

Almeta Lucille Baay Fleming, 74, resident of Dixie Drive, widow of William Lowery “Buddy” Fleming, died Friday, August 11, 2017 at Hospice House.

Born in Toccoa, GA, August 2, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Conrad and Alma Scott Baay. Mrs. Fleming was a graduate of Toccoa High School and retired from Sprint/United Telephone Company after 32 of employment. She was a member Victory Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Michael (Jenny) Fleming and Joseph (Jennifer) Fleming, all of Greenwood; one daughter, Deana (Ray) Lewis of Donalds; three grandchildren, Cory Fleming, Katelyn (Dylan) Pitts and Catherine Fleming and one great-grandson, Michael Fleming.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Derrick Rash officiating.

Graveside services will be at 3:30 PM Monday in the Toccoa City Cemetery in Toccoa, GA.

Pallbearers will be Mike Scott, Randall Scott, Cory Fleming, Sam Phillips, Dylan Pitts and Ken Stanley.

The family is at the home on Dixie Drive and will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 Monday morning.
