Obituary for Pauline Rosser Davis

Pauline Rosser Davis, 95, longtime resident of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Wesley Commons.

Born November 14, 1922, in Elberton, GA, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Blanche Hall Rosser. She attended Elbert County Schools and retired from Greenwood Mills, Durst Plant.

She was a member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Benny R. and wife Louise Davis of Greenwood; two sisters, Linda Lewis and Janet Ruff, both of Elberton; a grandson, Richard E. and wife Iris Davis of Greenwood; three granddaughters, Sherry D. Whatley, Leslie and husband Jay Johnson, and Karen and husband Chad Heery, all of Greenwood; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, A.D. Davis; five brothers, Harry Rosser, Ted Rosser, Phillip Rosser, Jerry Rosser and Almond Rosser; and a sister, Joyce Kidd.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Pastor Dustin Sims officiating.

The family is at the home of Benny and Louise Davis, 104 Anderson Drive, and will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service.
