Obituary for Ruth Frick Cobb

RUTH COBB

Ruth Frick Cobb, 83, resident of 106 Allison Dr, wife of Herman Dewitt Cobb, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Hospice House.

Born in Blythewood on October 9, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Ballentine and Robert Lewis Frick. Ruth was a graduate of Blythewood High School and worked for Park Seed up until her retirement. She loved to crochet and was especially known for her kitchen towels that she crafted. Her other hobbies included gardening and loving on her chihuahua CoCo.
She was a former member of Lupo United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to her loving husband for 64 years is a daughter, Tina and husband Mark Greer of Hodges, and a son, Timothy D. Cobb of Greenwood. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Shari (Travis) Stevens and Shannon Oakley, all of Donalds, a great grandchild, Layne Stevens and a brother, Claude R. Frick of Blythewood, SC.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Roberta Spratlin, Robert Frick and Mary Francis Smith.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday from the Oakbrook Chapel with Rev.
Mark Greer officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.

The family will be at the home of her daughter, 217 Butler Rd, Hodges SC 29653, and will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 at the Oakbrook Chapel
