BILL INABINET

William Carroll “Bill” Inabinet, 75, resident of 113 Stratford Road, husband of Sherrill Almquist Inabinet, died September 4, 2007 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Sandford, FL, September 14, 1931, he was a son of the late Dreher McLennon and Sallie Zeigler Inabinet. He was a graduate of Orangeburg High School, attended The Citadel and after serving in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict, he graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor(TM)s degree in Civil Engineering. He retired from Heaner Engineering where he served as president of the company from 1977 to 1994.

Mr. Inabinet was a member of the First Baptist Church and a former member of the Greenwood Kiwanis Club.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are daughters, Carol and husband Edward Land of Greer and Julie and husband A.B. Elabiyad of Greenwood; sons, William, Jr. and wife Catherine Inabinet of Monroe, GA, Steve and wife Teresa Inabinet of Valencia, CA; a brother, Tom and wife Nell Inabinet of Forrest Hills, MD; six grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Tony Hopkins and Rev. Kenny Standley officiating.

Private family burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery prior to the service.

The family is at the home in Druid Hills and will receive friends in the church narthex immediately following the service.

The family request that memorials be made to Hospice Care of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646 or to First Baptist Church, 722 Grace Street, Greenwood, SC 29649.
