Earl Cameron "Cam" Gulledge, 66, resident of 108 Portsmouth Road, husband of Janie Wiley Gulledge, passed away April 4, 2017, at Hospice House.
Born August 15, 1950, in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Earl P., Jr. and Dorothy Louise Cameron Gulledge. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School and was a 1978 graduate of Lander University. Cam was a US Navy Vietnam Era Veteran. He was retired from Tyco (formerly Parke-Davis, Pro-Med and Kendall), after more than 30 years of service as inventory control manager.
He was a former member of The Golf Club at Star Fort, where he was very active until his health wouldn't permit him to continue playing the game he so enjoyed.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 44 years are two sons, Greg and wife Janae Gulledge of Corpus Christi, TX, and Jeff and wife Randea Gulledge of Hallsville, TX; three sisters, Nancy Goff of Ninety Six, Cathy Willard of Coronaca, and Janet Girard of Blythewood; a brother, Andrew and wife Rebecca of Turbeville; five grandchildren, Klynt Raymond, Jackson Spain, Nicholas Cameron Gulledge, Allison Nichole Gulledge and Madelynn Grace Gulledge; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday at the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chuck Sprouse officiating. Burial will be in Oakbrook Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Mike Martin, Mike Clark, Richard Gardner, Roger Knight, Joe Gowan, Charlie Eakin and Brad Hamlett.
The family is at the home in Wellington Green and will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 Friday evening.
