Cynthia Anne Amick Phillips, 38, resident of 104 Trent House Rd., formerly of Ware Shoals, died February 21, 2011 in Charleston, SC.
Born in Greenwood, September 22, 1972, she was a daughter of Charles Bruce and Barbara Ann Dawkins Amick. She was a graduate of Ware Shoals High School and attended Greenville Technical College. Cynthia worked in administration with The Warren Group in Irmo and was a member of North Side Baptist Church in Greenwood.
Surviving in addition to her parents of Ware Shoals are a daughter, Reagan Elizabeth Phillips and a son, Charles Benjamin Phillips, both of Irmo; two brothers, Thomas B. Amick and wife, Lois of Hodges and Kemper L. Amick and wife, Paula of Columbia; the childrens father, David Phillips of Ware Shoals.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 pm Wednesday at Grace Community Church with Dr. Rodney Shultz, Dr. Marcus Bishop, Pastor Mac Jones and Pastor Jason McCary officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bryden Amick, Jacob Amick, Rodney Amick, Benji Higgins, Keith Gillespie and Randy Colburn.
The family is at the home of parents, Charles and Barbara Amick, 9 Kathryn Way in Ware Shoals and will receive friends at the church from 1 to 3 Wednesday afternoon.
