ESTELLE KNIGHT

Estelle Owings Knight, 85, resident of 1415 Parkway, widow of James Knight, died Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Magnolia Manor in Greenwood.

Born December 11, 1927, in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Paul C. Owings Sr. and Willie Mae Holsonback Owings. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School, retired from Greenwood Mills, Mathews Plant, where she was a member of The Quarter Century Club.

Mrs. Knight was a member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church and the Aliene Barnes Sunday School Class.

Survivors include one son Jamie Knight of Nebraska, two brothers; Clyde A. Owings of Greenwood and Earle and Sharon Owings of Belton, one sister in law, Jo Owings of Greenwood; three grandchildren , two step grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Paul Owings Jr., Carroll Owings, and Jon Owings

A Private Memorial Service will be at a later date.
