SANDRA MOFFETT

Sandra Mullaney Moffett, 72, widow of Col. John Ward Moffett (USMC-Retired), died Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Providence, RI, August 8, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Doris Piche Mullaney. Sandra was a graduate of the University of South Carolina Upstate and received her RN Degree from the Roger Williams Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse in both ICU and CCU units at Self Regional Medical Center and retired from the Department of Health and Human Services as a Community Long Term Care Nurse.

Sandra was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Greenwood.

She is survived by her four daughters, Michelle Moffett of Roswell, GA, Seana (Dwight) McPherson of Norcross, GA, Heather (Will) Howard of Greenville and Erin Moffett of Abbeville; two grandsons, Covington and Austin McPherson; one brother, Joseph (Joan) Mullaney and a niece Tara Mullaney, all of Harmony, RI.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Father Timothy Tebalt officiating.

Burial will be in Oakbrook Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at Blyth Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 Tuesday evening.
